Lakefront sites are awesome! sweet bathhouses by the beach!
very nice camp ground. we stayed at Lewey Lake Campground, but our camp site was on the Indian lake side of the road (loop 35 - 64). campsites are nicely spaced apart from each other with fire place and picnic table. Bath rooms are near by and also water spots. Showers are great, clean and lots of hot water.
I spent only one night at this place with the only purpose to make a few pictures of beautiful sparkling night sky. This place absolutely fits for this undertaking - the sky is free of light pollution, also there're a few unobstructed areas where I could place a my camera and observe. As regards to the camping site, the campground made a good impression to me.
Overall, good campground. I would actually give this 3 1/2 stars if that option existed, because I would recommend it to others. Campsites are well maintained; some are small and close together, others are great. The shower and dish washing facilities are excellent, but some of the restroom-only facilities are not very well maintained. Overall, a positive experience, and the lake and surroundings are beautiful.
Hot upgraded showers that run for 5 minutes / press, clean + close bathrooms with sink + toilet paper + mirror, water spouts are high for filling + drinking, wood and ice sold in campgrounds, sites facing the lake, small boat rentals, beach and boat drop off. I highly recommend this place. Views are also beautiful.
